Iby - Ibizan Hound Cross at GRWE

Iby is currently in the care of Greyhound Rescue West of England, contact details at the bottom of the page.

Iby has come to us from a pound in Wales, she is a young lurcher, approx 2 yrs old. We do not know her exact breeding of course; but we have had fun guessing and she does look very Ibizan like! Whatever Iby's breeding, she is a striking, playful young girl, confident and friendly with other dogs and she has a happy disposition.

Iby did live with a family for a very short time but was handed back to the pound when the family decided they couldnt cope. Iby is a lovely girl just looking for the right home to guide and train her.

Iby will need a strong owner to keep her in check and show her the way to do things, she is soooo sweet with guidelines and is happy to abide but if she can see an inch she is the type of girl who will try and go her mile!! Iby is going to be a great pet for someone

Iby would love an active home with people who understand young lively dogs - Iby is not dominant but can be pushy if not shown the right way to behave!

Iby is great with other dogs - strong and confident - Iby likes to be in charge and could prove a bit too much for some....

Iby

Iby has tested that she has cat safe potential.

Iby is very clever and would adore to do agility or something that would keep her active and thinking!

If you have the right home for Iby we would love to hear from you!
