Jasper
Jasper was picked up straying near Midsomer Norton just over 2 years ago. He had originally been at Bath Cats and Dogs Home in approximately 2002, but what happened in between the time he was rehomed and the time he was picked up straying is unknown.
However he was in terrible condition, urine burns all down his back legs and covered in scars.
Jasper was very fortunate that the Dog Warden that day fell in love with him and decided to give him a home.
It took 18 months of love and patience to get Jasper to really settle in as part of his new family. He has a very strong prey drive and so his new owner, at that time new to sighthound ownership, had lots to learn in regards to his desire to escape for his own hunting sprees!
Thankfully this is all behind Jasper now, he has settled well, no longer goes off for his own adventures and also now has many other sighthound siblings! He is much adored by his new owner, another lucky dog who eventually fell on his paws!
